Desert Springs Farm welcomes you back to the family table.

Using fresh and nutritious food we want to encourage home cooking and authentic connections with family and friends. Our desire is to see all our customers lead healthy, happy and fulfilled lives.

The mission of Desert Springs Farm is to provide the highest quality, nutrient-rich, farm fresh produce to Medicine Hat and Southern Alberta. Our efforts are focused on educating our community on holistic living, strengthening ties to our community’s food production and creating a sense of family.

Food is becoming more expensive and is having to be shipped from further away. We often have no idea where it’s been grown, under what conditions, and how its been nurtured. The idea behind DSF is to grow delicious, nutrient dense, sustainable, affordable food that will be accessible to our local community. As a farm our goal is to grow all of our products as naturally as possible with practices that integrate biodiversity and ecosystem management for sustainable crop production. In order to have an ecosystem-based approach to farming we actively practice conservation agriculture, integrated pest management, integrated plant nutrition, and pollination management.

We also want to help families know how to use this amazingly grown food to the best of their abilities; through delicious recipes and easy to follow cooking tips. Food is such an amazing way to connect with friends, family, and community and we want to do our part to foster those relationships! Plus, its so much more fun to experiment with new recipes and flavours when using farm fresh, affordable products.
